This first draft of an Android-based smartwatch UI shows how to provide therapy specific data from a connected insulin pump. One of the major objectives is to integrate pump data seamlessly into the daily use of the smartwatch and to enable an easy access to most important pump control functions.

Digital payment app
As part of my Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in User Experience & Usability, in collaboration with two other team members, this case study was conducted with objectives to meet the researched customer needs and solve usability problems along the digital touchpoint of the payment process, applying human centered design methods. Based on usability evaluation of a digital prototype appropriate measures are defined to improve overall user experience and efficiency.

A Swiss regional train concept, optimized for commuter traffic with an innovative space concept.
The today’s short distance traffic contains the most potential for improvement of the public transportation. The current system is already confronted with an undersized infrastructure.
For passengers which travel more than 15 minutes, spaceous seats are located on the upper floor.
The lower level is mainly designed for efficiency in short distance commuting.

Electric chainsaw
This chainsaw system contributes to safety for professional forresters. Due to fatigue after long working days, the risk of accidents increases considerably. Any weight reduction of the equipment is a significant improvement. The system consists of an electric chainsaw which has only about half of the weight of
a conventional device.
For additional power, the external battery can be worn as a backpack to extend the capacity up to one day or it can serve as a charging station for the chainsaw's exchangable battery cartridge.
